Cardiac CT

Non-invasive imaging of the heart and coronary arteries

At IMAGES Diagnostic Center in Kuwait, we provide Cardiac CT scans (CT Coronary Angiography) for detailed, non-invasive evaluation of the heart and its blood vessels. This advanced test uses a low-dose CT scanner with contrast dye to create 3D images of the coronary arteries, helping detect narrowing, blockages, and early signs of heart disease.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the leading cause of illness and death worldwide. Cardiac CT allows doctors to detect problems early and plan the right treatment, often avoiding the need for invasive procedures.

When Would You Need a Cardiac CT?

Your doctor may recommend a Cardiac CT if:

  1. You experience chest pain, shortness of breath, or unexplained fatigue.
  2. You have risk factors such as diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking, or a family history of heart disease.
  3. You need to measure your coronary calcium score to check for early plaque buildup.
  4. You had abnormal results from other tests (ECG, stress test, echocardiogram).
  5. You need a non-invasive alternative to traditional angiography.
  6. You are being monitored for known coronary artery disease (CAD)
